I have so many mascaras in my stash I’m slowly working my way through trying them and seeing which I prefer so the next on the list is the Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Smudge Out Mascara. I will admit that the thing that caught my eye with this is the packaging. I love how cute the Tony Moly products are and the Panda shaped mascara wand on this one just stood out to me. I’ve also found that their makeup works really well for me. The Smudge Out name on this mascara did surprise me, most English speaking countries would choose anti-smudge or something like that, but it basically means it won’t smudge, or shouldn’t anyway.
I found this mascara on the TK Maxx website a while ago, though I haven’t seen it since, and I can’t remember how much I spent on it but I want to say around the £5 mark. I think the best place to find it if you’re in the UK is eBay at the moment.

I probably shouldn’t try new skin care products, my skin tends to react to things and when I get a proper routine I should probably stick to it, but I’m always tempted by new cleansers when I see them. In a recent Korean Beauty haul I found one of the Pokémon and TonyMoly collaboration foaming cleansers. There’s a range of four different types for different skin concerns and each has a different Pokémon on the front.
This is the Isanghessi (Bulbasaur) version (£4.94) which contains egg white and Portulaca oleracea extract. I used google to see what this actually is and apparently it’s a plant that’s used in traditional Chinese medicine for a lot of things but it’s supposed to sooth skin and help with irritation so it’s a calming ingredient. I’ve been using it for over a month now so I think I’ve seen what it does so time for a proper review of this as it’s definitely one of the cutest cleansers I’ve ever owned.

Hey guys, how’s your week been? This wasn’t my planned Friday post but I’ve been working on giving the blog a makeover, well the planning stage of it, and time kind of got away from me. I think I’ve looked at so many fonts the word sample just looks wrong to me now! This year I will actually do the makeover I planned last year, but more on that next week.
I am trying to improve my skin care routine, and part of that is to use a face mask once a week (unless it’s one that happens to say use more regularly) and, as I have so many sheet masks I thought I’d start with one of them. If I keep up with this I’ll probably turn these into bonus weekend posts as they’re going to be short. Today’s face mask is a TonyMoly sheet mask, one of a set of eleven I bought recently from f2plus1 on eBay, and it’s the I’m Real Red Wine Sheet Mask for Pore Care.
Although I haven’t seen any of these in the U.K. apparently some of the TonyMoly I’m Real face mask range have been spotted in TK Maxx so worth checking your local to see if they have them. Otherwise I bought mine from eBay, they are available from a range of sellers, either individually or wholesale or, as is the case with mine, as part of a set where you get one of each variety. The prices to vary depending on what you get but with the full set I think it often comes to around £1 a face mask.

Another product from the TonyMoly Pokemon range today, I was going to spread them out a bit but then I realised they’re limited edition so best to post as soon as possible so there’s more of a chance of them still being available. There are two eyeshadow palettes in the range; Pikachu (neutral browns) and Jigglypuff (more pink toned) and each has three colours in it. I only have the Pikachu one but I think the Jigglypuff also uses the same combination of a dark and light shimmer alongside a ‘matte’.
I bought this from the f2plus1 eBay store but there are quite a few people still stocking it at the moment. Price wise it seems to range between £12 and £15 so it depends where you get it from. I’ve tended to stick with the one as they’re always quick and they pretty much always have everything I want so saves multiple orders.

I do love a good peeling face mask and the fact that the TonyMoly Pokemon line has one makes it even better. It’s the Buried Digda Pop Up From the Ground Peel Off Pack, which may be one of the longest names for a face mask that I’ve ever had. I love how peel off face masks are so much easier to remove and there’s a lot less mess than traditional face masks, you sit there for ten or fifteen minutes and peel it off. Plus there’s something oddly satisfying about that peeling feeling, like when you get glue on your hands at school. Or is it just me that likes that?
I don’t know if there’s a permanent line version of this as I think the Pokemon line is limited edition so it’s one to find soon if you want to give it a go. Luckily it does have a 12 month life once opened and it’s sealed so I think it’d be ok to stock up on. I found this one on the f2plus1 eBay store but it seems to be available from quite a few places so it depends on which you pick to buy it from. Most of them seem to have it from £7 to £10 for the tube, which holds quite a few uses as you do only need a very thin layer so you probably pay £1-£2 per application I think.

For a while now I’ve seen the rainbow highlighters on instagram and YouTube and thought they looked really pretty but wasn’t sure I’d ever use one. Add in the fact that I hadn’t seen many good reviews for ones available in the UK and I managed to avoid buying one. That is until I was looking on an eBay store I’ve bought Korean beauty products from before and saw that TonyMoly did one. This is called the TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter, though I think the official product name is TonyMoly Luminous going by the inside packaging.
I will admit it was bought on a bit of a whim but it’s so pretty and I wanted to see if this one lived up to expectations as I’ve not seen much on it really. It costs £11.24/$14.10 from the seller f2plus1 who I’ve bought from in the past but I’ve seen it on eBay from other sellers too. I’m not sure where you can get it besides eBay or Beaty Net Korea (their other online store) if you live in the UK.

Since getting a Meme box a couple of years ago I have loved all of the Korean beauty products I’ve tried. I also recently also found the TonyMoly Pokemon range and the Holika Holika Gudetama range and may have had a wish list that was way more than I could actually buy so quite a bit of this order is from those two collections. I do love sheet masks and have been wanting to try more Korean ones, knowing how well a lot of the skincare seems to get on with my skin, so I bought a selection pack along with a moisturiser I know works.
I’ve made a few orders from the f2plus1 eBay store, the eBay store for Beauty Net Korea, so I trust them. Add in the cheaper prices than getting these things anywhere in the UK and the free postage I definitely recommend them if you’re in the UK. They did have a sale on where everything had money off, at the time I think almost everything was around 14% which seems an odd number but getting a bargain is always good.

I’ve finished my degree! Woo! This past week has been a bit of a blur of working so I didn’t really post as much as I’d want to because my brain couldn’t take any more time looking at the screen after working on the project. This post was originally going to be done on Friday, so tomorrow it’s going to be the post that was meant for today, hopefully anyway.
Most of this order arrived a while ago, I posted about the one album in my August favourites post and I’d had it about a week then so that shows you when they arrived. I made the order from KPopTown.com at the beginning of August, the first part with the two albums and the two beauty bits arrived three weeks later which seems like a reasonable time to me from South Korea to the UK. They sent me an email about the earrings not being in stock and then when they were dispatched and there was no extra postage, they took another three weeks to arrive and everything was very well packaged so as far as how good they are as a store I would definitely recommend them.

I love reading people’s monthly favourites, seeing what they actually use and like as everyday products and things. I’ve ended up with another mix of lots of things in mine, I like a lot of things and have found new products or rediscovered ones I’d forgotten or not used in a while from a few different kinds of product outside of beauty as well so it’s a bit like last month with a bit of everything in there. Maybe I should keep that as part of the title every time, or would that be a bit repetitive? Anyway, here’s the products I’ve loved, I’m not sure where you can find some of them online so I’m going to link the things I can find.
