I had all these plans for Christmas related posts and then life got in the way so it’s been just the advent calendar, I may have to do some of my more Christmassy reviews in the week between Christmas and New Year, that still counts right? Anyway, I saw this over on A Daily Dose of Holly and thought it looked fun, I haven’t done a tag in a while. I’ve seen a couple of others floating around so I might do another, is two tags in four days too many? I might do it anyway.
Hope you’re all having a fun time, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, and are managing to relax and enjoy it. I do love this time of year though it’s been a bit hectic this year and I finally got the hang of writing posts in advance and scheduling them, even if there was a slight hiccup where it accidentally posted the same thing three times simultaneously (still not sure how that happened!) On with the questions! And I know I’m meant to tag people but I never know who to tag so I tag anyone who wants to do this, and if you do please leave a link below, I love reading about other people’s Christmasses. I love how they made the bird house and little birds. I didn’t manage to get the zebra tied to the zebra crossing but he’s still hanging on after a few weeks of being there
I went into town today as our dog needed to go to the vet for his annual check up and the knitting was still there so I took some photos. Unfortunately I didn’t take my camera but hopefully a camera phone photo will do. I know it’s not a specifically British thing to knit things for trees and pillars, and probably wasn’t even started in Britain, but I liked the idea and it sort of goes with the slightly quintessentially British thing of being slightly ‘odd’ as shown in a lot of American programs I’ve been watching.
I saw this post over on Every Word You Say and it made me smile so I thought I’d give it a go. I love some of her answers, good to know there are other people out there who grew up on Woolworth’s pick ‘n’ mix! 🙂
I saw this tag on YouTube a while ago, A Thousand Lives of Daisy did it (and I think invented it) and I thought it’d be a great tag to do on my blog, I just totally forgot until I saw it on Sarah Churchill’s channel so I thought I’d do it for today. I know I haven’t done anything on books before but I do love reading and recently my concentration has improved so I can now read books without being stuck rereading the same few pages multiple times to remember what’s happening.
I do love doing tags and this was something a bit different. I did end up spending more time flicking through the books and looking at the books I have than actually coming up with the answers. It was a bit like those times when you say you’re going to start a photo album ad you spend hours looking at the photos and reminiscing, it’s very easy to get distracted when there are so many memories linked with everything.
Today has just been one of those days where I haven’t got anything I planned to do done. I should learn not to try and plan things after acupuncture, it just doesn’t end well. Anyway, I wanted to post something today and love doing tags so went in search of one that I haven’t done, which isn’t all that hard as I don’t think I’ve done many of these at all. I like reading other people’s tags and answers to these kinds of questions, somehow it makes it more like you learn something about them more than with reviews.
I found this on The Life of Kristyn so thought I’d do it. I’m not tagging anyone in particular but if you want to answer them too then I’d love to read your answers 🙂
