Review: Pokémon Re-Ment Terrarium Set

Pokémon Re-Ment Terrariums title image. Behind the text is a photo of the six designs of Pokémon in the terrariums

I’ve always loved miniatures and there have been so many times I’ve had a Re-Ment set in a basket and not got it, so when I saw the Pokémon Terrarium Re-Ment Set on Plaza Japan for £29.41 with cheap shipping I had to get it. I love the terrariums I’ve seen on Etsy but they’ve always been a bit more expensive, a lot of them seemed to be more than this for one, and I liked the mix of Pokémon in this set.

They’ve done four collections, number five is available for pre-order, and this one is the second one. It’s got some of my favourite Pokémon in there with Articuno and the Sandshrew and Cubone one is so cute. It comes with six different mini displays inside clear pokeballs. All of them are from the first generation of Pokémon except for Togepi but it’s been in Pokémon so long I always think it was.

Review: Loz Diamond Blocks Squirtle and Charmander

Loz Diamond Blocks models of a Squirtle and Charmander next to each otherI’ve always loved mini things and I love Lego so of course I had to get some mini Lego style blocks at some point. I’ve got the Piza set from Nanoblocks and have seen the Loz Diamond Blocks sets around but always thought they would be poor quality compared to them. After spending ages trying to find a reasonably priced Pokemon set of definitely genuine Nanoblocks I gave up and my curiosity got the better of me so I bought these two sets on Amazon when I was making a Black Friday order.

I did plan on getting Bulbasaur too but he wasn’t fulfilled by Amazon and the postage was as much as the set so he’ll have to wait. But I did get a Squirtle and a Charmander. These were both £6 and a quick search will find a lot of places selling them so take your pick, though apparently there are even fake Loz bricks out there.

Pokémon Pins from Petty Bones Club

petty-bones-club-pokemon-enamel-pins-8.jpg

I’ve loved enamel pins for as long as I can remember, I used to collect charity ones when I was little, so I love the fact that they’re in fashion at the moment and seem to be everywhere. I’ve also loved Pokémon for years, like a lot of people I grew up playing it and still do, so when I saw the enamel pins from Petty Bones Club I had to get some.

At the moment Petty Bones Club also has a Kickstarter campaign going with some cute Sailor Moon and Pokémon pins. It’s been fully funded so far but there are more pins to unlock so you should check it out if you’re looking for something like that. I’ve got my eye on a few but I could probably have got a few more if it was in my budget!
