I mentioned this yesterday but I wanted to post a photo and I was wondering if anyone has done the whole DIY flocked tree with fake snow thing? I would say it was a success, except for the amount I thought I needed, but know it takes longer than I expect to dry. Last night it was still wet and wiped off easily, today it’s all crumbly and only comes off in pieces. Have any of you tried this? Is there a knack to it or is it just spray it on and leave it?Continue reading “Blogmas 2019 Day 3: My DIY Flocked Tree”
You know you’ve waited too long to do a post on a product when it’s not available any more. I wanted to really give these things a try, the ones I didn’t have already, so it’s sort of four mini reviews in one post as they’re all available in the permanent line.
In the No7 box that was a free gift with purchase they had a mini version of the Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Facial Sun Protection SPF 15 and the Lash Impact Waterproof Mascara as well as a full sized Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil in bronze and Protect and Perfect Lip Care. This is a great mix of products to try for summer and I think any of them would be worth checking out, especially as No7 have a 3 for 2 offer in Boots at the moment.Continue reading “No7 Ready, Set, Summer Product Reviews”
Recently mum wanted to try the lip serum from Fresh and I kind of got talked into buying the Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment as I’d seen reviews of it but it seemed a bit expensive. It’s one of those things that I’d put in and out of my basket on the Sephora website, though I still haven’t bought anything from there, but didn’t realise that they sold it in the UK. It’s available in a range of colours, I was surprised at how many there are, though they are all lip tints so it’s not very opaque.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment, I’m not sure how long it’s been since I started to see these reviews pop up but it seems like pretty much everyone who tried it liked it at one point. My lips are pretty chapped a lot of the time, they seem to eat lip balms, and although this is more than I spend on lip products I thought if it works then it’s worth it especially with that added SPF 15 for the summer. I chose the Fig colour as it’s a sort of muted purple, to me it’s a plum colour, though I wasn’t expecting it to be as glittery as it is. It costs £19 on their website and you can choose a number of samples, we got three but this might be because of the amount we spent I’m not sure.
