I recently made another order from the F2plus1 eBay store for Korean beauty products, I think it seems to be this time of year that I make these orders. A couple of these products were ones I’ve had my eye on for a while and I may have bought some more sheet masks. I already have enough to last months but these ingredients sounded unusual and I do love anything lychee or mangosteen so they ended up in my basket.
I’m always a bit wary about ordering from eBay, especially when it comes to cosmetics as there are so many fakes out there and I think a fake plastic figure is one thing but something you put on your skin is another. But I trust the f2plus1 store as I’ve bought from them before. They also have an online store away from eBay, BeautynetKorea, which I haven’t used but think it’d be as trustworthy. It does take a while to get here, two or three weeks in general, but considering it’s all the way from South Korea that’s pretty quick.
Hey guys, how’s your week been? This wasn’t my planned Friday post but I’ve been working on giving the blog a makeover, well the planning stage of it, and time kind of got away from me. I think I’ve looked at so many fonts the word sample just looks wrong to me now! This year I will actually do the makeover I planned last year, but more on that next week.
I am trying to improve my skin care routine, and part of that is to use a face mask once a week (unless it’s one that happens to say use more regularly) and, as I have so many sheet masks I thought I’d start with one of them. If I keep up with this I’ll probably turn these into bonus weekend posts as they’re going to be short. Today’s face mask is a TonyMoly sheet mask, one of a set of eleven I bought recently from f2plus1 on eBay, and it’s the I’m Real Red Wine Sheet Mask for Pore Care.
Although I haven’t seen any of these in the U.K. apparently some of the TonyMoly I’m Real face mask range have been spotted in TK Maxx so worth checking your local to see if they have them. Otherwise I bought mine from eBay, they are available from a range of sellers, either individually or wholesale or, as is the case with mine, as part of a set where you get one of each variety. The prices to vary depending on what you get but with the full set I think it often comes to around £1 a face mask.
This is the Holika Holika All Kill Cleanser Oil to Foam and is part of the Sanrio Gudetama collaboration range. I think it may also be the cutest bottle I have ever had when it comes to cleansers. I have tried a few skin care products from Korean brands and, for some reason, they seem to all get on well with my skin which seems to be fairly rare when it comes to western brands o I wanted to give a cleanser a go. Add in the fact I’ve been curious about these oil to foam style cleansers for a while and this one stood out for me.
I don’t often do posts on skin care and I always make sure I’ve used it for a few weeks when I do, I was planning on doing this one in a couple of weeks time but with it being limited edition I thought it was best to get it up while it’s still available to buy. I know my skin and there are normally two phases when it is likely to react to things. The first is within days if it makes the sensitive aspect of my skin flare up, the second is a couple of weeks later, or normally between the end of week one and the end of week three, where the acne prone aspect shows itself so I have past both stages and think I can give you guys a good review of how it worked for me.
Another product from the TonyMoly Pokemon range today, I was going to spread them out a bit but then I realised they’re limited edition so best to post as soon as possible so there’s more of a chance of them still being available. There are two eyeshadow palettes in the range; Pikachu (neutral browns) and Jigglypuff (more pink toned) and each has three colours in it. I only have the Pikachu one but I think the Jigglypuff also uses the same combination of a dark and light shimmer alongside a ‘matte’.
I bought this from the f2plus1 eBay store but there are quite a few people still stocking it at the moment. Price wise it seems to range between £12 and £15 so it depends where you get it from. I’ve tended to stick with the one as they’re always quick and they pretty much always have everything I want so saves multiple orders.
For a while now I’ve seen the rainbow highlighters on instagram and YouTube and thought they looked really pretty but wasn’t sure I’d ever use one. Add in the fact that I hadn’t seen many good reviews for ones available in the UK and I managed to avoid buying one. That is until I was looking on an eBay store I’ve bought Korean beauty products from before and saw that TonyMoly did one. This is called the TonyMoly Luminous Goddess Aura Aurolighter, though I think the official product name is TonyMoly Luminous going by the inside packaging.
I will admit it was bought on a bit of a whim but it’s so pretty and I wanted to see if this one lived up to expectations as I’ve not seen much on it really. It costs £11.24/$14.10 from the seller f2plus1 who I’ve bought from in the past but I’ve seen it on eBay from other sellers too. I’m not sure where you can get it besides eBay or Beaty Net Korea (their other online store) if you live in the UK.
