Nail Art: Holographic Disco Balls

Is it just me or is it really hard to photograph holographic things? My mermaid nails finally gave up after nearly two weeks, or rather the nail art bits did, the gel would probably have carried on but I felt like a change so I decided to give these disco ball nails a go.
