I recently made an order on the Joe Browns website and I would have done this post sooner but one of the items was faulty so I had to get a replacement. The good news is the returns were quick and easy and, even though it was only a small fault, they didn’t question it and I had the replacement back here within a week despite using My Hermes which often takes that long one way.
I don’t know if you guys find this but there are a few stores that I know if I order them online they are almost guaranteed to fit me well, the shape just suits my body and I know the sizes because of how many things I’ve bought in the past. Joe Brown’s is one of those companies for me. I did end up getting more than I originally intended but some of these things have been on my want list, or something like them, for the past two years so, although it seems like a lot to spend in one go, I am actually pretty much set for clothes this summer. I need a few new vest tops and some T-shirts with print or pattern on them but I’ll just go to Primark for the few things I need.
On the weekend I went shopping after going to the library, mainly for some bookshelves I had ordered, but we had time to spare before it was going to get to the shop and we ended up in Primark for something mum wanted to buy. Of course I went in thinking I might get a white vest and ended up with a lot more than I originally planned while she left with nothing. Fortunately almost everything I bought was on my ‘buy before summer’ list anyway so now I have new vest tops to replace those that have faded.
I recently ordered a few bits from TK Maxx, I wasn’t planning on getting much besides the t-shirt but I needed a notebook and when I saw the one I felt like I had to get it and it’s for a good cause, at least I think Comic Relief is a good cause. When I was looking around the site I saw the mini bottles set of Marc Jacobs perfumes, one of them being Honey which I love, and ended up getting that too. I’m a sucker for mini things plus the fact I like having small bottles for travelling as in the past I’ve had glass bottles break and I’d rather lose 4ml of perfume than a full 30ml of 50ml. All of these products can be found on the TK Maxx website and the T-shirt and notebooks are probably available in most of the stores around the UK until Red Nose Day, 13th March, though smaller sizes tend to sell out quickly, at least that’s what I’ve found in the past.
